Sunset Graphics, LLC uses PC compatible computers and can accept a wide variety of file types.
By day, Eric is the mild-mannered owner/operator of Sunset Graphics, but at night.well, he's still the owner/operator of Sunset Graphics. It's a full-time job doing work this good!
The right art for the right job
If available, vector art should be supplied for screenprinting, vinyl work, some digital work, embroidery, and any image to be reproduced larger than it is. This normally refers to business logos, school mascots, etc. For the most part we only use raster images for sublimation, digital prints, and as source material to vectorize logos and other types of artwork. Keep in mind that images found on the internet are normally not of a quality high enough to reproduce, so hard copies or direct from camera digital files are your best bet.
Programs
We primarily use CorelDraw version X4. We also accept Adobe Illustrator CS and Adobe Photoshop CS program files. Illustrator files should have all strokes converted to outlines. We will accept MS Word and Publisher files, but additional acquisition charges may apply. All files should have fonts embedded or converted to outlines/curves. We use Designart2000 for plotting.
Files
EPS files: Please export Illustrator EPS files as a “legacy file” at version 8.
PDF files: A great way to get your artwork to us.
EXP files: Our Melco Embroidery machines uses this type of file.
